The Accuracy and Precision of Temperature Measurement

 

The accuracy and precision of temperature measurement are usually estimate by the error between systemic error and random error. The accuracy and precision of a measuring device(disposable temperature probe) can only improve one item in the general condition, it depends on individual measurements, and the standard is very important.

Under the same measurement condition and use the same measurement tools(Exsense Medical disposable temperature probe) and methods to measure the body temperature for many time. If the measured value of random error is small, this means that the measurement results are small fluctuating. We can know the measuring repeatability is good.
