Body temperature is one of vital signs of life, disposable temperature probe can help medical workers to know the patients temperature exactly.
The fever process:
1. Fervescence period (heat production is greater than heat dissipation):
Fatigue and weakness, Pale skin, dry without sweat, Chills, Even shudder
2. The persistent febrile period (heat production and heat dissipation tend to balance) :
Flush red, Skin searing, Dry lips, the breathing pulse quickens, Headache and dizziness, Loss of appetite, General malaise, Weak and feeble.
3. Defervescence period (heat dissipation is greater than heat production) :
Sweating profusely, the skin is moist.
The fever types:
1. Continued fever:
Temperature sustained in 39, 40 ℃, for several days or weeks, 24 h range is less than 1 ℃. See pneumococcal pneumonia, typhoid, etc.
2. Remittent fever:
Temperature above 39 ℃, temperature difference within 24 h of more than 1 ℃, the lowest of low temperature is still higher than normal levels. It is seen in septicemia, rheumatic fever, suppurative disease, etc.
3. Intermittent fever:
Temperature soared to more than 39 ℃, the last several hours or longer, and then dropped to normal or below normal, after a break, temperature rise again, and break out repeatedly, namely fever period and no heat period appear alternately. It's seen in malaria.
4. Irregular heat:
The fever is not regular, and the duration is uncertain. See influenza, cancer fever, etc.
